Lesson 3: Creating Seams and Hems using a Sewing Machine

Lesson 4: How to Create different kinds of Pockets

Lesson 5: Learning how to sew Gathers, pleats and darts

Lesson 6: Starting with the Patterns

Lesson 7: Cutting Fabric from Patterns

Lesson 8: Sewing the Project

Lesson 9: Project Finalisation

Lesson 10: How to Upcycle and Alter Clothing

Who is this Course for?

This course is targeted for those who are complete beginners, with zero experience in sewing, who would like to learn how to sew clothes from home. 

Course Details

  • Mode of Study: Once weekly (2 hours per lesson)
  • Duration: 10 Lessons
  • Location: Art Academy Mosta (131, Constitution Street, Mosta)
  • Requirements: Students will need to bring their own sewing supplies, including a sewing machine. 
  • What’s Included: Hands-on teaching, individual attention
  • Certification: Upon attendance of 80% of the Course, students will be given a Certificate of Attendance
