Join us for an inspirational demonstration on Urban Sketching with local artist Joseph Casapinta using watercolors and ink.
The act of urban sketching certainly existed long before the actual term or label of ‘urban sketching’ came about. Urban sketching essentially means sketching on location.
Urban sketches tend to focus on architecture or street scenes but also include drawing people in cafes, or on their daily commute, and anything in between.
During this demonstration, learn the basics such as methods for picking perfect locations, Casapinta's unique pen work techniques, choosing and applying the right colours, attaining perfect proportions, simplifying your work, mastering perspective, drawing on paint and so much more.
This session is suitable for all levels, including beginners, artists, and art enthusiasts alike, who would like to gain basic knowledge on urban sketching.
Spaces are limited and are only available via pre-booking. You can book your place online or visit our store in Mosta.
