The Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Super Granulating Watercolour 50 Half Pan Box Set includes half pans of all fifty colours from the Super Granulating range. The pans come presented in a luxury wooden box with brass coloured fittings, Schmincke branding and a ceramic palette.
This set includes all 50 colours from the range covering Volcano, Shire, Deep Sea, Glacier, Desert, Forest, Galaxy, Tundra, Haze and Urban. Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Supergranulating Watercolours are made to the same professional quality as their standard Horadam Aquarell range. They are bound using high quality Kordofan Gum Arabic from the southern Sahara region, which means they can be easily rewet on your palette. These Supergranulating colours have enhanced granulation as each colour combines at least 2 granulating Horadam pigments.
Each paint includes pigments from different colour groups, resulting in beautiful play between different colours. Try out Deep Sea Indigo, for example, and you will see a combination of both violet and green pigments emerge from your wash. The interaction of these colours varies depending on the type of paper and amount of water used. Try out these colours on rough paper for a more pronounced effect.
All Horadam Supergranulating Watercolours are fully intermixable with the standard Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Watercolour Range.
