The trusted medium for the pastel market. The pastel adheres so well to this paper that you don't need to use a fixative between each layer. You are able to multiply the layers without a saturation effect. Pastelmat brings new opportunities for pastel artists, offering a coarser surface than velour but softer than sand paper.
Available in pads of assorted colours and each sheet is protected by a glassine divider sheet. Rub out or wet the paper, the Pastelmat keeps its original properties. This paper also supports wet techniques such as alcohol without effecting its texture or its hanging surface.
Available in 18 x 24cm or 24 x 30cm, with 12 sheets per pad, 3 of each colour (4 colours)
Colours include beige, sand, sanguine and anthracite.
