What will they learn during their time at Art Academy?
  • We teach our students how to handle different media with structured approaches that explore the technical aspects of drawing skills first followed by painting media such as gouache and watercolours.
  • Encourage art students to adopt new perspectives and see the world with a critical eye.
  • Our art tutors will provide art students with a variety of art historical knowledge and art techniques in a fun and creative way suitable for their age.
  • We provide art students with sustained, structured art tuition which we tailor to the needs of each student.
  • Provide engaging art lessons that can boost the art student’s confidence and self-esteem.
  • Encourage art students to bond and cooperate with other students attending our art classes.
  • Stimulate art students with new subjects and contemporary approaches to get them to strive to think creatively, be original, discover, and innovate.
  • We also organise pottery sessions during most of the courses to help students explore 3D projects.

Why Study Art from an Early Age?

Drawing and painting lessons are a fun way for kids to engage their curiosity and develop a process of imaginative thinking. These two qualities liked with art training were proven to be related with long-term professional success as kids and teens grow to become adults.

Studying the fine arts will encourage them to think outside of the box and hone their problem-solving skills by stimulating them to find new and creative ways to solve the issues at hand.

Our art courses help them to think creatively and thus help them to develop the skills they need to create their future. Studying art has also proved to:
  • Boosts confidence & self-esteem from a young age by encouraging art students to make their independent choices, to express what they are thinking and to feel more comfortable expressing their feelings.
  • Facilitates bonding by creating art in small group settings (our art lessons have a maximum of 14 students) encourages cooperative behaviour, giving them opportunities to practice crucial social skills like sharing, taking turns and working together.
We always limit our art classes to a maximum of 14 students per class, allowing the teacher to work closely with every student and provide individual guidance.

The Art Academy classrooms are equipped with child-friendly furnishings, full air-conditioning, sound system, television and projector.
