Art Teacher (Ages 9-12) Vacancy (Mosta)

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Children’s Art Teacher for students aged 9 to 12 years to inspire and engage young artists in a fun and supportive environment. This role involves introducing children to a variety of artistic techniques, helping them develop their creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence in self-expression through art.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging Art Instruction: Teach children fundamental art techniques, including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and mixed media. Tailor lessons to different age groups and skill levels.

  • Encouraging Creativity: Foster a love for art by creating a playful and inspiring atmosphere where children feel confident exploring their creativity.

  • Hands-On Guidance: Provide individualized support to help children experiment with materials, improve their artistic skills, and complete their projects.

  • Safe & Supportive Environment: Ensure a positive and safe classroom setting where children feel encouraged to express themselves artistically.

  • Material Knowledge & Management: Introduce children to different art materials and tools, teaching them how to use them safely and effectively. Manage classroom supplies and maintain an organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Teaching or Working with Children: Prior experience in art education, childcare, or creative workshops for kids is highly preferred.

  • Artistic Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of various art techniques and materials suitable for children’s art activities.

  • Patience & Enthusiasm: A love for working with children, with the ability to inspire and motivate young artists.

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage and connect with children, parents, and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.

  • Studio & Classroom Management: Ability to create a structured, fun, and safe learning environment.
