Pebeo natural charcoals are manufactured in the purest traditional method of carbonized wood. Soft charcoals are preferred to graphite pencils by painters who use them for preparatory sketches for their works on canvas without any risk of effecting the painting surface. A fixative is used to ensure the stability of the finished work.
