SIL ART is the most used two-component silicone rubber in Pietrasanta by sculptors, model makers and art foundries to make silicone molds of medium and large sculptures. 

✔️INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Thanks to these unique characteristics, for over 20 years it has been the most used rubber by the sculptors of Pietrasanta and the most used in the Italian fine arts academies. With R sculpt you can make molds of all types and sizes and it is particularly suitable for making works in plaster, resin, wax, soap.

✔️EASY TO USE: Mixing ratio 100:5 (e.g. for 100g of base product add 5g of catalyst) and a working time of 30 minutes. It is applied by hand, it allows you to copy even the smallest details.

✔️PLEASE NOTE: the manufactured molds may have a linear shrinkage of 0.2-0.5%

R SCULPT is a bi-component paste rubber (base and catalyst) that thanks to its special formulation, it allows to create large and light molds directly on vertical surfaces, copying even the smallest details.

Thanks to these unique features for over 20 years it is the rubber most used by the sculptors and foundries of Pietrasanta and is the most used in the Fine Arts Academies.

With R SCULPT you can make molds of any type and size and is particularly suitable for making works in plaster, resin, wax, soap.

HOW TO USE IT


CATALYSIS SCALE 5%

ex: 100g R SCULPT rubber + 5g catalyst (c-art)

Perfect to make big and complex molds on vertical surfaces, like capitals, friezes and sculptures.

It can’t be used to cook.

It hardens at ambient temperature and faithfully reproduces every detail.

To be always used in the presence of an adult.
