The ‘Children's Art Course’ for children aged between 9 to 12 years is specially designed for the young artist who wants to dive right into the world of art and design. The creative Art Course teaches the necessary art techniques in a fun and creative way, boosting the students' creativity and imagination. The students will learn how to work with some new materials, textures and themes.
This creative Art Course is carried out in small groups in a safe and friendly environment. Art Academy’s classes are equipped with full air-conditioning and child-friendly furniture.
Course Details
- Mode of Study: Once weekly (1.5 hours each lesson)
- Duration: 10 lessons
- Location: Art Academy Mosta (131 Constitution Street, Mosta, Malta) or Art Academy Zurrieq (88, Triq Matteolo Saliba, Zurrieq)
- Requirements: Students will need to bring their own art materials
- What’s Included: Upon attendance of 80% of the Course, students will be accredited for their Informal Learning, thus given a signed and stamped form for their Informal Education by the Institute.

Course Funding
Tax Deduction on Fees paid for Cultural and Creative Courses:
Parents of children under 16 who attended any Cultural or Creative courses at Art Academy are eligible for a tax deduction scheme of up to a maximum of €300 for each child. Parents are entitled to claim a deduction against their chargeable income of up to a maximum of €300 for each child.
You don't need to do anything, we will apply for you after the completion of the course.
